Meet the cutest little Barney!

Barney is a playful, active pup who’s always ready for fun and adventure. 

At 32 pounds, he’s the perfect medium size—easy to handle but full of personality. 

He’s food-motivated, which makes training a breeze, and he’s as loyal as they come, with a protective streak for the ones he loves.  

When playtime winds down, Barney’s favourite place to be is snuggled up on your chest, soaking up all the love. 

He’s low maintenance, affectionate, and guaranteed to bring joy to your days.

Meet the sweetest pup, Zeus! 

  It’s hard to believe this 47lb lap dog nearly lost his life at a shelter in California, at only 1 year old. Now that he’s here, Zeus just wants to live his best life. 

Zeus loves to go for walks, run around the yard and play with his foster siblings, or just snuggle up on the couch with his people. He is a social butterfly and full of energy, and would thrive in a home that can accommodate for that. 

He can be a little nervous meeting new people, but once he gets to know you he is the sweetest boy.

 Zeus loves other dogs, does great with kids, and is neutral with cats. He is fully potty trained, and sleeps through the night snuggled up in his bed. 

With a little basic training, and lots of love, Zeus will make the most amazing companion. I mean how can you resist that adorable underbite!

Meet Kayio!

Age: Male 

Breed: Mini poodle cross  

Weight: Approx 13lbs   

Other dogs: would prefer to be the only dog In the home  

Cats: open to testing,but unsure as of now  

Kids: Kayio would do best in an adult only home   

Meet Kayio (Kai-yo) after a hard start to life on the streets and no training in his formative years, he’s excited to share a new start, and his new found skills with the perfect person. 

Kayio has been working diligently through his training program. As a low to medium energy dog, With proper equipment he walks very on leash and quite enjoys a quiet trail stroll. 

He continues to make daily progress passing by other dogs out in the world without reacting. He has been fully potty trained and crate trained.    

Kayio would do well with someone who works from home or at home part time. He can manage longer stretches alone, but really prefers to be in the company of his people. 

Kayio is so cute and loves his belly scratched and gentle pets, which is probably his best quality, but more than anything Kayio needs someone dedicated to upkeeping all of the hard work he has learned this far. 

We need someone who is willing to continue to offer him the structure he needs to thrive, such as continued crate training, calm structure inside the house, and leadership as an owner. Kayio is cute, but he is a small dog who deserves the same dedication to obedience training that a larger dog would get.   

Please be aware, all Poodle crosses do require regular grooming. Kayio also has some mild food allergies to chicken and beef. He otherwise has a clean bill of health. Kayio comes with two free and required training sessions with the rescue so we can pass along all of the great things he’s learned so far.

Meet Sidney!   

Sidney is an 8-month-old Greyhound mix weighing in at 38 lbs. 

She’s a sweet girl who loves people — it may take her a little time to warm up, but once she feels comfortable, her playful, loving personality shines through. 

Sidney does good with other dogs and appreciates a proper introduction to new friends. She is quickly picking up on her commands and doggy manners. She’s a good sleeper in her crate and settles in quietly when left alone.  

Potty training is still a work in progress, but she’s learning fast! With a consistent routine, she’ll be fully reliable in no time.  

Playtime is Sidney’s favorite — she loves tossing her toys around and being silly. When she’s all tuckered out, she’s the ultimate snuggle buddy, happiest curled up right next to (or on top of!) her humans.  

She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but we think she’d do well with kids — as long as they don’t mind a few enthusiastic kisses while she learns her manners. 

Sidney is also working on her leash skills and is becoming more confident with every walk. After everything she’s been through, all Sidney needs is a little structure, training, and lots of love to blossom into the most loyal and loving companion.

Meet Bebe: Your Sweet and Gentle Companion!

Age: 2 years old 

Weight: 17.4 lbs Breed: 

Chihuahua mix  

Personality and Ideal Environment: Bebe is a lovely little girl who thrives in a calm and low-key environment. She’s not much of a barker at all, making her a great companion for someone who enjoys a peaceful home. 

Training and Commands: Bebe is doing really well with her crate training. She sleeps soundly through the night in her crate for about eight hours and is comfortable being crated when you’re out during the day. Her potty training is pretty solid as well—she mostly does her business outside, and she even uses a pee pad if needed. 

Walks are easy with her; she doesn’t pull much and is pretty content with a couple of short walks a day.  

She’s a bit of an anxious pup and can be cautious about being handled, so she needs someone who’ll be patient and gentle. Once she warms up, though, she truly loves affection and will become very cuddly and loyal. 

Bebe tends to follow you around the house once she trusts you. 

 Ideal Home: Bebe would do best in a home that’s relatively calm and patient, ideally with someone who can give her a bit of time to settle in and build trust. 

She’s likely good with other dogs or cats given a slow introduction, and she’s definitely looking for a human or family who’ll appreciate a sweet, low- to medium-energy dog who just wants to be loved.

Meet Babe!

   Dogs - could live in a home with a well matched dog  

Cats - unsure, with training she has been making progress but would be open to testing 

Kids - yes, she would do well with children  

Meet Babe a 2 year old female Frenchie bulldog cross from a high kill shelter in California. 

Babe was clearly used as a breeding dog until she no longer served a purpose and surrendered to shelter as a result. 

Because of limited exposure and a tough start, the whole world is very exciting and new for our little Frenchie girl. However Babe has become excellent on leash with proper tools and equipment. 

She is highly intelligent and shows great promise with continued training.   She’s an energetic little love bug and loves to go on walks and adventures. 

She has a very funny personality and will charm your socks off in any way possible. She loves to skuttle up to you for love and affection and has no fear meeting new people.  Babe is a social dog with energetic love, goofiness, and affection. She is a big time people dog.

 Aside from some easily managed allergies with diet, Babe has a clean bill of health.  

 She is fully potty trained and crate trained, and has some nice in home obedience skills that we will pass off to her forever family. 

We are hoping to find a home who can continue to implement the structure that has turned her into such a wonderful pet dog this far.

Meet Rico!

5 months old - 4 lbs - male 

Rico is a fun-loving cuddle bug. 

He is the always the first to say hello after a day at work, immediately wanting pets and cuddles. 

Be prepared if you get caught scrolling on your phone- he will promptly sit in your way and demand your attention be given to him instead. 

When he’s not snuggling he is an absolute goofball. He is a big fan of crinkle toys and chasing his own tail in circles. 

Rico has lots of energy, but knows when it’s time for bed too. He is tidy and litter trained.

Meet Luna!

5 months - 4 lbs - female

Luna is an absolute doll.

 Her gorgeous face and big eyes say it all. Not to mention her beautiful and unique colouring. 

She can be shy at first and not quick to cuddle but will let you know when she wants them.

 Despite her shyness I can always find her close by and following wherever I go. 

She is a gentle, but curious soul.

 She loves sitting in the window watching the world peacefully.

 Luna can be very playful especially when toys are near. 

Luna also loves chasing around her brother Rico. She is very tidy and litter trained.

Breed/Colour: Kitten, male, handsome little tabby (tiger colouring) little man 

Weight: approx. 2.1 pounds

Harness/Leash: No issue so far with harness/leash when we leave the house for safety and socialization. 

People: So far happy to meet everyone, but timid, needs time to warm up and trust  

Dogs: Very alert when around and will react (let you know) if they get to close for comfort at this time 

Cats: Currently with another foster kitten from another litter and doing great 

Environment: Needs space and time (his pace), quieter space would be preferred until he is comfortable with the person(s) and home.

Meet Francis! 

This 3-year-old southern belle from New Orleans has all the charm you could ask for in a cat. 

Francis is the perfect mix of playful and sweet—she’ll keep you entertained with her love of boxes, chattering at birds, and “helping” you make the bed (because darting under the sheets is just too much fun!).  

She enjoys affection and will happily soak up pets—on her terms, of course, like any true cat. She’s also been used to wearing claw caps since she was a kitten, which has kept both furniture and sanity intact.  

One of Francis’s most endearing traits? She adores dogs! She’s not the least bit shy around them and would happily cuddle or play with a canine friend. Other cats, however, aren’t really her thing—she prefers to be the only feline in the home.  

Francis loves basking in the sunshine but isn’t a wanderer, so a safe patio or supervised yard time is plenty for her. 

She’s also wonderfully well-mannered: she doesn’t knock things off counters, is crate trained, makes nail trims easy—and oh, she’ll even leave your Christmas tree alone!  

And like any clever cat, Francis knows a few tricks: she’ll happily sit, spin, and even sit pretty. But shaking paws? That’s beneath a lady of her stature, of course.  Once Francis bonds with you, she’s an absolute doll—loyal, affectionate, and full of charm.

Meet Missy 🐾

Missy is a lovable goofball who’s full of personality and affection! She’s happiest when she’s curled up on the sofa for cuddles or out on a long walk exploring the world. 

This sweet girl adores playtime and loves a good play fight — she’s always up for fun!

Missy is great on leash and enjoys visiting the dog park nearly every day, where she gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She can get a bit excited when she spots a new friend, but it’s only because she can’t wait to say hello!

She’s also a fantastic running buddy and would love an active home with a garden or plenty of space to be her silly, happy self. Missy is fully house trained, knows her basic commands, and responds beautifully to finger clicks for attention.

Meet Zoey – The Squeaky Toy Queen!

At 9 years young and about 20 lbs (with a little extra love to spare), Zoey is a happy, playful, and affectionate girlwho’s ready to charm her way into your heart—and your home!

Don’t let her age fool you—Zoey still has plenty of pep in her step! She loves playing fetch with her beloved squeaky toys and enjoys going for walks (she’s working on her leash manners, but she’s eager to please). After a good play session or stroll, she’s all about the nap life—preferably belly-up with her paws in the air on her cozy dog bed. It’s her signature sleeping pose!

Zoey is house trained, sleeps through the night, and is trustworthy when left alone at home—a rare combo of independence and cuddly affection. She’ll happily greet you at the door with a wagging tail and a big smile, then roll over for a well-earned belly rub.
