Meet Sir Lenny!

Lenny came to the rescue in November 2023 and was adopted by his foster mom (#fosterfail!). Unfortunately, his new adoptive mom recently fell ill and was no longer able to care for him, so he was returned to the rescue. He’s now ready for round two of his forever home!

Lenny is just under 2 years old and is high energy! He loves spending time outdoors and can run like the wind! Loves to play with his toys by himself and with you (fetch or tug-of war) …although still learning how to actually “drop-it” so you can throw the toy again! He is currently being fostered in a home with a backyard and access to a dog door – which he loves the independence of! He is fully potty trained and has even learned how to go to the bathroom in one area of the backyard. He is working on some key commands with his new foster but will require some additional training around recall.

He does have some separation anxiety currently, which may be due to the situation of losing his human mom and being uprooted.

He loves playing with dogs of all sizes and gets along well with humans too but can be hesitant at first. He prefers to come to you first! Unsure about cats at this time, has only had two interactions with a street cat – did not go too well! He is very loving and a big kisser! Loves to snuggle up at bedtime under the covers. He will be a great little buddy for someone who can spend a good portion of time with him, as Lenny prefers a good amount of stimulation ❤️

Meet the absolute sweetest boy, little Puff. 

Puff was found on the streets of California, and made his way to BFF in August. 

Puff is about 1-2 years old and weighs 14 lbs. He has plenty of energy and loves to zoom around in the yard playing with his foster sister Matilda. 

Puff is shy to start, but as soon as he realizes you'll snuggle and love him, he opens up and invites you in. 

The sweet boy would love a forever family who can promise to not just love him forever, but give him plenty of play and outdoor time as he loves to play and go for walks (he's so excited he pulls a little, but with some more practice he'll walk like the gentle man he is).
