Meet our older gentleman Cody.
Cody was surrendered to the shelter in California by his owner. He had a severe untreated skin condition that he has suffered from for a very long time.
We couldn't watch Cody suffer any longer, and got him into safety. He went straight to the vet where we started treating his infection and he started getting medicated baths. His fur is slowly growing back, and he is off chicken completely as he's very allergic to poultry.
Cody is being fostered with two other dogs and is very dog friendly. He weighs 17 lbs and is 9 years old.
He loves to nap, snuggle and sit on your lap. He is every easy going and happy, even though he's been through the ringer with his passed owner neglecting him.
Cody is partially deaf, but if you squeek one of his toys, he can hear it!
He is super friendly with everyone he meets, including kids and other dogs.
He's completely fine on his own in the home, and rarely barks.
Cody deserves to find his last forever home, where he will never be neglected again. Cody is a real gentle man, and deserves to be loved immensely, for the rest of his life.

Before being rescued, he roamed a school in California and would not come to anyone. He was attacked by an animal and has had surgery to repair a collapsed lung.
Now in Canada, he is thriving and eager to learn commands. He is a naturally happy dog with a great disposition and a lot of potential. Very chill for a dog with such a difficult beginning to life.
Blaze is open to a lot of options for his new forever home. He is loving and welcomes being loved. Will easily adapt to a stable environment. He would do well with an individual or a large family and possibly with active seniors. With the proper training and support would likely be able to live in a home with another dog or cat. He has been crate trained and loves to be around others, but also enjoys his alone time.

Sweet Strider came from a reserve in Manitoba. He arrived to us on December 1st.
With proper introductions, Strider is good with dogs and gets along great with his foster parents dog, and loves to play and snuggle with him.
He does not like cats. He hasn't been around a lot of kids but has been good in the few interactions he's had. He's

He does not like cats. He hasn't been around a lot of kids but has been good in the few interactions he's had. He's working on crate training and leash manners and getting better every day.
He loves to have snuggles in bed, but is also content sleeping on his own dog bed. He does have a bit of separation anxiety when left completely alone, but does great when left alone with other dogs and settles right down.
He's happy to snooze on the couch throughofice buddy. He really loves his people and melts when he gets any attention and loves getting pets and playing.
His favourite snacks are bully sticks and cheese!
Strider can't wait to find his forever home, and never have to live outside again.
